Photography Workshops run in conjunction with Andrew Appleton of Appleton Training

Andrew Appleton is a panel member, judge and mentor for The Guild of Photographers and his courses are recommended and approved by them.

Andrew Appleton is a photographer based in the UK near the historic city of Lincoln, famous for it’s beautiful cathedral where some of the The Da Vinci Code was filmed. He first picked up a camera when  he was 7, a Kodak Brownie 127, and the fascination with photography began. After a life in various industries Andrew decided to make photography his full time career in 2008 and loves every minute of it.

Andrew’s Lincolnshire base is 400 year old farmhouse where he has a small studio and plenty of surrounding land for location work together with training facilities for 1 to 1 and workshops of up to 6 people.  Andrew also travels extensively throughout the UK.

Predominantly he photographs people but in the last two years he has started training others on the skills needed to create people images. With family links to the theatre it was only natural that he would gravitate towards performance photography, he shoots portfolios for dancers, actors and performers and also covers live events. This performance work sits alongside his beauty, fashion and commercial work. The common theme is people.

We also hosts Workshops run by Jon Gray http://jongrayphotographer.co.uk/.  Jon has been a professional photographer for over 25 years, working mostly in the highly competitive world of Travel, Fashion, Advertising and Glamour markets.
